Period Cottage Remodel

This period project was a beautiful transformation from a tired and run-down cottage to a stylish family home. The clients worked with Hannah to plan a transformation that would tick all the boxes for their family.

By moving the kitchen into what was the existing lounge created a large kitchen/dining room and by knocking together the two reception rooms they created a beautiful spacious sitting room around the feature fireplace.

The stairs to the loft room occupied a position which compromised the layout of the first-floor bedrooms and the room itself was long and very linear which was difficult to plan considering the restricted head height. The client wished to create a master suite taking advantage of beautiful views, by adding two dormers and relocating and reconfiguring the stairs by wrapping them over one another we created a stunning master suite with exposed beams and an ensuite bathroom.

London Townhouse remodel and extension

This London townhouse was purchased by the client to turn it into a suitable family home for their growing family, we undertook a side and rear extension to enlarge the kitchen and provide space for an integrated dining area.

Upstairs the bathroom was large and dominated by a huge chimney breast, by removing the chimney breast we were able to add a small shower room to this floor and turn the bathroom into a small bedroom/nursery/ study. Upstairs we turned the rear bedroom into an en-suite to form a master suite on the top floor.

It was a complicated plot located in the conservation area with party wall constraints.

Kitchen and Family Room Extension

The family lived in a beautiful new build family home but the layout was very segregated with separate kitchen and dining room, the clients wished for a large kitchen/family room which spilled out on to the garden to make the most of the sunny aspect.

By creating a single storey extension and knocking through several internal walls they created a beautiful light filled space, the double set of bi-folding doors bring the inside space outside for alfresco dining.

Bungalow Transformation with a View

This house started life as a red brick bungalow with a double storey conservatory to the rear.

The house boats amazing views across the Severn, the client wished to extend and re-orientate the spaces to make the most of the amazing aspect.

The view from the entrance is so important when starting a design, with this in mind they created a double height entrance with stairs down to a new kitchen/diner, lounge and utility.

Upstairs the clients retained four bedrooms and created a master suite with panoramic sea views.

Home Extension, Bristol

This Bristol property had an unusual arrangement with the kitchen partially located in a rear conservatory, this created all sorts of mould problems due to condensation.

By knocking down the conservatory and extending with a double height kitchen extension they created a flexible entertaining space to suit their family. Due to the work from home requirement we also created a flexible work desk space which could be separated from the kitchen using pocket doors sliding into the walls.

Double Storey Home Extension, Bristol

The house was typical of its age with a separate living room, dining room and kitchen. The clients bought the house as it occupied a large plot with big garden for their growing family, however the layout of the property was becoming restrictive to the needs of the family.

By designing a double storey extension and knocking out the rear and internal walls they created a beautiful open plan family room and much needed fourth bedroom with ensuite.
